A friend had an idea for a community bumper sticker for Alki Beach (Al-kee Beach) in Seattle, WA. Having lived in the community for many years I liked his idea and we had a meeting where the idea was born. The design then leaped from stickers to ball caps, t-shirts and sweatshirts. I sold the rights to the brand when I left Seattle in 2003. Unofficially it is called the “Alki Bird.”
