This logo was based on the client’s old logo which was not very attractive and it was not vector based. The biggest challenge with this project was finding a font that had the shadows in the right place to match the shadows on the rest of the logo. Because I insist on vector design whenever possible I couldn’t just use a raster effect tool to create the look I wanted. Fortunately I stumbled on a font called bevel that is actually a base font plus 3 other fonts that can be stacked so that you create a 3d effect. So the base in this case is white, and the 2 “stacked fonts are the fonts that make up a bottom shadow and right shadow on each of the letters.
